Don Levin

Don Levin, is a former Attorney at Law with over thirteen years of general practice experience, and nine years as a court appointed arbitrator.  He is also a retired U.S. Army officer, with over twenty three years of commissioned service spent in a variety of command and staff positions, twelve years of which were at the General Staff level. He is also a past senior sales leader for GE Financial Assurance and Genworth Financial with a focus on sales, training, and leadership development. He has written extensively on the subject of leadership and coaching, and is the co-author of The Leader Coach: Exposing Your Soul (more info by clicking here). Don earned his JD from The John Marshall Law School, his MPA from the University of Oklahoma, where he authored Are Ethics Alive and Well in Today's Officer Corps? and has a BA in Political Science/Criminal Justice from the University of Illinois-Chicago. He is also a graduate of the U.S. Army Command & General Staff College and the Defense Strategy Course, U.S.Army War College.

In addition to his law license, Don also possesses his Life & Health insurance license, NASD Series 7,24, and 66 licenses, and has earned the CSA® and CLTC® designations.  He has also earned Green Belt certification through GE’s Six Sigma program.

Don is very active with his church and within the community, and remains focused on his wife Susie, of 25 years, and their five children and seven grandchildren. In his spare time, Don has also found the time to publish two novels, and is completing a third.

 


Don Miller
Don Miller, has close to 30 years experience in general management during which he’s built skills in operations, process improvement, organizational and personal development, career coaching, and general consulting. He spent the bulk of his career at Procter & Gamble in manufacturing, corporate, and field sales roles. He held executive positions at Capital One Financial Services managing recoveries and corporate compliance. He is currently also a Vice President and Career Coach at Lee Hecht Harrison and has provided independent consulting at senior levels. In addition to these duties, Don has consulted with other Fortune 500 companies the areas of Human Resources, Succession Planning, and conducted organizational assessments. Throughout his career, Don has had a strong focus on organizational and individual effectiveness.

Don earned his MBA from the University of Scranton and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University.


Terry Edwards
Terry Edwards is an Operations Executive, Consultant, and Executive Coach with 24 years of leadership experience, 17 years of which are with three Fortune 300-sized companies. His expertise lies in Operational Strategy Development and Execution, Leadership, Organizational Change Management, Coaching, and Team Development.

In addition to his own leadership experiences, Terry has coached dozens of executives within the organizations he has worked - focusing on performance improvement, personal development, and creating new possibilities for their careers and lives. His work with clients centers on Winning in Business and Winning in Life. Terry works with clients to help them become soulfully aware and present with themselves and those that they work with and for. Through this full awareness and presence his clients achieve great results for their businesses, themselves, and their team members – both professionally and personally.

Terry earned an undergraduate degree in Engineering at the Unites States Merchant Marine Academy and a Masters in Business Administration from Boston University. His coaching development was attained at Georgetown University’s Leadership Coaching graduate certificate program. When not at work, Terry stays busy at home with his wife Susan, of 17 years, and their three sons.


 

GILL FaIRHOLM

Currently Dr. Gilbert W. Fairholm is a faculty member of the Honors Program and is an emeritus member of the graduate faculty at Virginia Commonwealth University where he served for 19 of his over 30 years in higher education. He was Adjunct Professor of Management Systems at the University of Richmond, Robbins School of Business and visiting Professor at Hampden-Sydney College, Assistant Professor of Local Government, University of Pittsburgh and Adjunct Professor of Leadership at Averett University. He also was a Senior Fellow of the George Washington University, Center for Excellence in Municipal Management and a frequent trainer for the University of Richmond Management Institute.

 

Gil received his doctorate in Public Administration from the State University of New York/Albany, a Masters degree from the Wharton School of Business and Finance at the University of Pennsylvania, and a BS from Brigham Young University. In addition to this academic training, he has extensive experience as a practicing leader with more than twenty years of leadership experience in both state and local government and in private eleemosynary institutions. He served as Assistant City Manager for Ogden and Orem City Utah, and as City Manager for Layton City, Utah. He has held top leadership positions in the Department of Transportation, the Office of Community Affairs, the Department of Motor Vehicles and the Division of the Budget for the State of New York and was Director of State-Local Finance for the State of Wisconsin.

 

Professor Fairholm is a frequent consultant to business and government. His major emphasis is in leadership, strategic visioning and in executive and leadership development and team building. Among his recent business consultancies are work with Crane Engineering and the Western States Retirement Community. In Virginia he has consulted with the state departments of Taxation, Transportation Safety, Motor Vehicles, Health, The Council on Information Management and the State Lottery; two legislative commissions, the U.S. Veterans Hospital, the IRS, The Richmond Metropolitan Authority, the cities of Alexandria, Bedford and Richmond and Chesterfield County among other public agencies and with several universities among them the University of Richmond=s Robbins Business School and the Management Institute, Hampden-Sydney University and the University of South Dakota=s Farber Center for Civic Leadership. He has conducted senior executive service training for the Brookings Institution. For several years he provided the management module for the professional certification program of the American Medical Directors Association both regionally and nationally. He was instrumental in creating three university-level leadership programs. He was also a consultant to the government of Northern Nigeria.

 

He has published extensively: over 120 articles and study reports and eight books. He is the author of Values Leadership: Toward a New Philosophy of Leadership (Praeger, 1991), Organizational Power Politics (Praeger, 1993), Leadership and the Culture of Trust, (Praeger, 1994), Capturing the Heart of Leadership: Spirituality and Community in the New American Workplace (Praeger, hard cover, 1997, paperback, 2000), Perspectives on Leadership: From the Science of Management to its Spiritual Heart (Quorum Book, hard cover, 1998, Praeger, paperback, 2000), So You Have Been Called To Be A Leader (Three Questions Press, 1999), Mastering Inner Leadership, (Quorum Books, 2001) and Techniques of Inner Leadership: Making Inner Leadership Work, (Praeger,  2003). His present research efforts are to further validate his five leadership perspectives model and to compare spiritual leadership and modern management practice.

 


 

Fred Esposito

Fred Esposito has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Quinnipiac College and is a Chartered Life Underwriter (insurance) and Chartered Financial Consultant (securities).   

 

 Mr. Esposito has over 45 years experience in employee benefit planning and financial services.  He was a manager with the John Hancock Insurance Company, Vice President of Marketing with Life of Virginia Insurance Company, and retired as President and initial founder of First Financial Services of Virginia.

 

Fred has served as a business counselor with SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives, a division of the U.S. Small Business Administration) for the past six years, providing mentoring, counseling and training services for new businesses.

 


 

Sarah Hammond
Sarah Hammond has a Bachelor of Arts degree in the English Writing Program from George Mason University in Fairfax,Va. She has worked as an editor at the U.S. Department of Education in Washington ,D.C. Most recently, she worked as a reporter and editor at Business Publishers, Inc. in Silver Spring, Md., where she covered Capitol Hill. Most recently she has utilized her customer-centric skills and successfully completed searches for a wide range of positions in varying industries. She currently leads the Executive Placement division for Legacy Search.        

 

 

     


 

Chris Sorensen
Chris Sorensen has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marriage, Family, Human Development from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT and a Masters in Education with an emphasis in Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA.   Chris found his passion for customer service and working with people while working as marketer and sales promoter for a mid-level telemarketing firm while in college.  Because of his top sales and his infectious ability to bring out the best in others, he eventually became employment recruiter and trainer and ultimately office manager.  But while he enjoyed the world business and sales, he found life and schooling pulling him in the direction of counseling.  

He is currently in his fourth year as a high school guidance counselor and lives with his family outside Richmond, VA.  Chris has a special gift for working with people, especially youth, and his appeal and ease of approach makes him especially effective for any organization that may employ or work with younger generations.  His areas of focus in and outside of the school system are human potential, accountability, personal relations, and the power of commitment.  Chris is excited to be back in the professional arena and serve with those on the Legacy Search team.

Mark Levin
Mark Levin, is also currently the Vice President of Select Search, a premier Executive Search firm in Chicago, IL. Mark has experience recruiting professionals for the Information Technology and Banking industry since 1995. Prior to Mark embarking on his executive search career he spent ten years employed with Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America. Mark’s passion for his work is only surpassed by his strong devotion to his wife and children.


 


Steven Kramer
Steven Kramer is a widely known leadership coach. He has held senior leadership positions at General Electric Financial and Genworth Financial. He is a certified trainer and facilitator for The Advocacy System, Managing Goal Achievement, and Integrity Selling. 


 

 

 


 

Karen Weeks 

Karen Weeks has a wide range of managerial experience, to include heading the Human Resources department of a firm servicing individuals with disabilities. She is a past Co-Chair of the Utah Council for Worksite Health Promotion, and is currently serving as a committee member. This blue ribbon committee is dedicated to improving the wellness of Utah’s workforce through education and grant sponsorship.

 Karen graduated from Utah State University with a B.S. in exercise physiology and returned to USU after beginning her family where she graduated summa cum laude with a Masters of Science in Exercise Physiology. Karen chose Corporate Wellness as the emphasis to her graduate education because she saw a great need to increase the quality of life among those in the workforce. In addition to a healthier and happier workforce, companies can decrease costs and enhance their bottom lines by mitigating and reducing the high costs associated with employing an unhealthy workforce.

 Whether one on one, or in a group setting, Karen loves to teach, and to help people improve themselves. Karen remains a favorite instructor because of her high energy and sparkling personality. Karen remains active in both church and community programs.


 

Russell Ward

Russell Ward has served in a wide range of leadership positions in a number of organizations.  He has also spent tow years serving as a church missionary in Porto, Portugal.  Russ is now completing his Bachelor of Arts in Management degree at Utah State University in Logan, UT.

Russ has a passion for people, marketing, and sales, and enjoys helping others identify and enhance their primary talents and achieving their goals.
